Don't Walk on the Grass, 2026, Installation & Research
Don't Walk on the Grass is a spatial installation examining how urban nature has become a designed image: managed, standardised, and applied to the city the way a texture is applied to a surface. A 2 × 2 m floor is covered entirely by a printed texture of urban grass, with paper bricks folded from UV-mapped textures of Copenhagen's constructed landscapes stacked on top. The viewer stands at the edge and cannot enter, placed in exactly the position the project describes. The title borrows its instruction from a sign found across cities everywhere, not as a warning, but as a description of a condition the installation simply makes impossible to ignore.
